How to Buy Fodder Online in the UAE: GrazeMarket and the ADAFSA Fodder Market

There are now several ways to buy fodder online in the UAE. Which one suits you depends mainly on where your animals are and whether you are registered with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA).

The options at a glance

• ADAFSA Fodder Market (on TAMM): the government platform for livestock breeders. It connects breeders with approved fodder suppliers, through TAMM and a mobile app, with pickup at outlets near the ezbas. ADAFSA reported more than AED 1.47 billion in sales and about 17,400 livestock owners buying through it in 2024.
• GrazeMarket (market.grazefodder.com): Green Graze Fodder's own online fodder shop. Anyone can order: farms, camel ezbas, horse stables and backyard keepers in any emirate. It shows today's price in AED for every product, with delivery to your farm or pickup from our yard in Al Hayer, Al Ain.
• Calling or messaging a supplier directly: still common, but you have to ask each supplier for prices one by one.

When the ADAFSA Fodder Market is the right choice

If you are an Abu Dhabi livestock breeder who is eligible to buy through the platform, start there: it is the official channel set up for breeders, with approved suppliers and outlets close to the farms.

When GrazeMarket is the right choice

• Your animals are outside Abu Dhabi, for example in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah.
• You want to compare prices before ordering: GrazeMarket shows the live price per bale or bag and the cheapest price per kg.
• You need products the platform may not carry: Rhodes grass and alfalfa bales of different sizes and origins, barley, camel, sheep, goat, poultry and dairy feeds, silage and pellets.
• You want delivery to your gate, or to pay cash on delivery or by bank transfer.
• You want to order in Arabic or English without paperwork.

Many farms use both: the government market for what they are eligible for, and GrazeMarket for everything else and for deliveries outside Abu Dhabi.
